Shady Springs is excited to announce our participation in the Austin Studio Tour! We will be transforming our dancehall into a temporary gallery space for a duo exhibit of new works from our Sherman Road painters Kiah Denson (large abstracts) and John Patrick Cobb (landscapes), and we are looking for up to 5 guest artists to join us! (**gallery has been filled**)
In addition, we’re looking for artists, creatives and vendors of all types to participate in an artisan + makers market under our heritage pecan tree.

Some Details!
Dancehall gallery (filled): ~6.5'x40' gallery wall available in 5 sections of 6.5'h x 8'w + floor space (8'x11') for pedestals, print rack or small table. (you may also set up a display or tent outside!) There will be a $65 fee to cover material costs to build the wall.
Outdoor market: ample space for tents, tables and displays! (BYO) There is no fee for market participants. We have room for you to be creative with your work: demos, live painting, installations, performance, music and more! We provide the space, you bring the creativity. Depending on the number of participants, some or all could be set up under patio coverage, if desired.
Please note: All gallery artists must be officially accepted individually to the tour. Cross-promotion is queen! For the market, we are accepting applications of those who did not, but official tour participants get preference. We are a teeny family business, not a gallery—you are responsible for your work and your sales. We take no commission. We are next to the new HOPE Outdoor Gallery and just a short drive across the river from the dense East Side arts area and big hubs like Canopy and Springdale General.
applications for Market artist spaces are currently being accepted for official tour participants. Submissions for that close Aug 23. Non-official tour participants interested in joining the market will also be considered. we want local vendors of all types! (vintage, hand made goods, food/drink, etc)
