We used to do all our own catering in-house! We are NOT offering that anymore (for now…), but this page was created before the pandemic and we want to leave it up for a while…let’s be nostalgic about our 39 years of catering!
We allow outside caterers and food trucks with advance planning and approval, so please let us know if you’d like to discuss food options for you event.

Fred Denson has been smoking brisket for almost four decades. His giant iron smoker (which he made) is a sight to see! Our meat is slowly wood-smoked and hand-stoked for days, producing tender, flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth brisket. We may be local-famous for his smoked brisket, but that’s not all we’re known for. Lory’s pinto beans are seasoned perfectly (without meat or fat), her cole slaw is full of colorful veggies, and while we don’t home-make our potato salad anymore (we’d have to hire a new staff just to peel potatoes), it’s a favorite among our guests. We get our tasty sausage from Smokey Denmark, another local family-owned business, and our 100% beef burger patties are fresh, never frozen.
Our rates include a catered buffet meal. All of our food is prepared on site, giving you the freshest food possible. You'll love the aroma of food being smoked and grilled on our cookers. (see menus below)

Dietary concerns:
*We offer vegan (chipotle black bean patty) and vegetarian (Gardenburger patty) mains with advance notice for any of our menu options, and we have a separate no-meat grill to cook them. All of our sides are vegetarian. Everything on our menu is dairy-free except the cheese and the Gardenburger patty. Our pinto beans, fixins’, buns & bread are vegan. Hotdogs and hamburgers are 100% beef. Sausage is pork & beef. With the exception of the bread, sausage and Gardenburgers, no gluten ingredients are used in our products. Please contact us with any specific questions or special requests. We are not equipped or certified to accommodate for any severe or life-threatening food allergies.
